Our Growing Weed...
It's been so long since I've been on here. Logan is now 6 months. He's our little growing weed. Will and I have adjusted to our new parent role although we are still getting used to having to pack up the whole house when we take Logan out. Yes, I'm exaggerating! He's now eating solids and loving everything that goes in his mouth with the exception of peaches. Will said he made funny faces with every bite so we aren't giving him peaches anymore. There's so much to tell and not enough time. I have so many pictures to post on here. It's been tough because we got rid of our internet access and that's why I haven't been on here. I'm only here today because I have a little time at work. I will try my best to be here as often as I can so you can read my postings. Take care

Time Flew By....
It's November 1st and I haven't been on here for a while. I apologize to all you followers about not updating my blog. You see, the reason I haven't been on here is because Will and I got rid of our Comcast. We decided that it's a luxury we're going to try and get rid of. We're doing okay so far.
So what has happened since my last post? Logan is finally here! On Friday, August 20th I went in for my last appointment. My weight jumped to 175 pounds! YIKES! I've never been so heavy in my life! Dr. Thomas was concerned about my weight and my blood pressure because it was a little high so he sent me to the lab to get blood work done. That was my last day of work. The followingTuesday he called and said he wanted to get another blood pressure reading and told me my uric acid results were a little high. I went to his office that afternoon with Choua and yes my blood pressure was high so he admitted me to Clovis Community. We came home to get Will and off we went.
Labor was terrible. Because I had preeclampsia

Circumcision?....No Circumcision?
Last night I was bored and was surfing the internet. Will was home with me. I decided to google child birthing videos. That was not a pretty sight. I showed it Will. I told him he will never look at my whoo-ha the same again after Logan's born. Those videos were pretty graphic. Blood and all. Oh! I also googled circumcision. Bad bad bad bad idea! The baby screamed and cried as they cut away his foreskin. AHHHHHH! What mother can stand listening to that?!?!?! My eyes were streaming with tears just hearing that newborn cry. Who knows how I would react if that were Logan?!?! So right now if the hospital won't do Logan's circumcision when we're there, we're not getting it done. Period. Besides, it's only cosmetic. There's no medical reasoning behind it. Jesus only got circumcised so he wouldn't masterbate not because it wasn't sanitary. Who cares if Logan masterbates, and I'm sorry but it's up to the parents to ensure that their child is being cleaned properly! There's my opinion on circumcision. My sister has two boys, both not circumcised and they are doing just fine.
Anyway, I'm officially 8 months pregnant. 32 weeks. Wow! It took a while for us to get here. I'm ready for him to come. I think more so because it's becoming so uncomfortable for me to sleep at night and move around during the day. I miss having a glass of wine and eating sushi. Can't wait to have all that stuff again. Yum! My Braxton-Hicks are coming more often now, sometimes 4 to 5 times a day. Not painful yet. I have a feeling he'll be here in August. Can't wait!

It's Getting Closer to Due Date
I haven't been on here for a while. I'm sorry to those who have been reading my blog and keeping up with my pregnancy. Since I've been on last I've had a baby shower and done lots of shopping for Logan. I still have another shower that the ladies at my old apartment are throwing for me. I can't wait to go and see everyone. I haven't seen them for a while.
How's Logan doing? He's growing and that means my belly is getting bigger. My doctor appointments which used to be monthly are now every two weeks. Last Friday I had my appointment. I got to see Dr. Thomas and the nurse midwife, Lorraine. She is super funny and really nice. She told me to stop sleeping or laying on my back because it slows Logan's heart beat. She had me listen to his heart beat laying on my back and then on my belly. I could tell the difference. The only thing is that I'm most comfortable sleeping on my back! Anything for the baby, right. I have to make sure he's healthy and if that means losing sleep, I have to do it. Dr. Thomas was in the office that day. He came in to listen to Logan's heart beat as well. Lorraine said baby is growing at the right rate. I just want to know how much he weighs right now. Dr. Thomas is sending me for a 3D ultrasound. It's tomorrow and I'm so excited! Will is going with me. He's excited as well. We'll post the pictures so everyone can see.
So I'm 7 1/2 months now. Not much more time left. I'm excited yet afraid of the unknown - the pain. I'm sure everything will be okay. Still need to find a Pediatrician for Logan and still contemplating circumcision. Will definitely wants it done. I'm reading too many articles and it's scaring the crap out of me. I'm sure Logan will be fine. Logan's room is ready for him. He's got a ton of clothes and diapers. I've got his outfits picked out for him for the hospital. I just need to get my stuff ready. We're getting closer to the due date every day and I'm getting more and more nervous. I think it's more about leaving work and the files that I have to do for someone else to take over. I'm totally afraid of that; I think more so than the labor pains I'll be in.
Be back soon....

Excitement is in the air...
Yes, I'm excited to see Logan. We're less than a hundred days away and I'm estatic! I'm ready to see his face. I often wonder who he looks like. My belly hasn't grown very big but I know I'll only get bigger as the days draw nearer. No stretch marks yet! Yay!
My shower is only a week and half away and I have over twenty people coming. Most of them I haven't seen in a while so I'm excited to see everyone. They're all very happy for me and extremely surprised that I'm pregnant. It is about time though!
My next doctor appointment is next Friday. Right now they're just listening to his heart beat. It's a really quick ultrasound - in and out. I wish they'll do an ultrasound so I can see how he looks right now. He's very active. Right now he's kicking me, mainly on my right side. Yesterday he kicked me on my left side. That was a surprise. I'll let you know what happens at my next appointment.

Am I enjoying my pregnancy?
A lot of people that I work with are starting to realize that I'm pregnant especially the doctors that pass in and out of the office daily. Obviously because my belly is now showing. Dr. Rao came in yesterday morning to complete some paperwork. She asked the girls at the front desk if I'm pregnant and they told her yes. Dr. Rao said I don't waddle like most pregnany women do and I don't look like I'm pregnant from the back so no one can really tell I'm pregnant unless they look at me from the front. That was nice of her.
I've been questioned a lot lately if I'm enjoying my pregnancy. Truth is and I'm going to be totally honest. The answer is not really. There are days when I feel good and other days I just feel ugly and fat. Pregnancy is really uncomfortable! I don't understand it when women say they LOVE being pregnant?!?!?! HUH? Really? Who likes their sleep interrupted every two hours at night just to go pee? And I'm talking about like two drips of pee coming out, not like a normal long pee. My coworkers tell me my body is preparing me for the long sleepless nights when the baby comes. I can handle that; I've raised two puppies. I used to get up every two to three hours to make sure they were potty trained. No big deal! This isn't the only thing about pregnancy that I don't like. How about when I switch sleeping positions from laying on my right side to my left side. I feel like my whole belly and innerds shift. Ew! That is really uncomfortable.
I told Will the other night that I don't like being pregnant. He said it's a little too late to be saying that. Hahaha! No shit! I also told him that I'm not sure I'm ready to be a mommy. A little too late for that too. I think I'm just nervous. I just want to see Logan. Maybe all these strange yucky feelings will disappear after that. We'll have to wait and see.

Baby, Baby, Baby....
So I'm about 6 months pregnant and Logan is growing rapidly. He kicks me mostly in the morning and after lunch. Will finally saw him kick last night. He didn't feel it, he saw it. It just looks like my stomach is twitching. Kinda weird looking. The other night he woke up around 2pm in the morning and was kicking me. I was already awake because Lacey like to kick me and Will if we sleep too close to her. Hahaha! She's such a silly little dog.
So we have so many clothes for Logan. We bought this armoire for the nursery and that thing is filled with baby clothes. Everyone who is coming to my shower is asking what I need. I've been telling them I don't need clothes, unless they find an outfit that is stinky stinky cute then they can buy it. Otherwise, there are other items on our registry that we're in desperate need of. I'm just looking for shoes for him. We have a pair of tan/brown shoes and a pair of blue ones. Will and I have been looking online for some skate shoes. Most of the really cute ones are for toddlers only. Dammit! Hahahah! I found a pair that looked exactly like Will's pair. Too bad the smallest size they have is 5T.
I can't wait to see his face. I want to know who he looks like. I envision him with light brown hair, brown eyes, and pale skin. Who knows?!?! He might have black hair. We'll see. My mom had reddish brown hair so it'll be interesting to see. We're fast approaching my due date and I'm totally excited.
